As I write this American is coming up on its 2012 presidential election. I strongly encourage all Americans who can vote to do so. We as individuals may not have much of a say, but as a whole we form an alliance that must be heard, a force that construct a better life for our people.

We all know how conveinent that Android Ipod touch or Iphone you have is. It can help you get into your car if you lock the keys in. Pay for bills and do banking on the go. Activate your home secuirty. Hell, it does so much you could easily forget that it's a cell phone.
However, the conveince comes at a cost, the device's GPS data is saved in your phone company's database and stored up to a year. Now this being wespeakforfreedom, and me being one against the injustices of the vast machine, I strongly disagree with it.

This is the first in a series of debates we will be running on We Speak for Freedom on the theory of freedom and liberty. I hope this section will inspire the debate in which it was set up for, and will broaden all our views of freedom.
Our first piece is 'What I Believe' by renowned anarchist Emma Goldman. The text is below, please take into account this was written in 1908, but I believe its theory still holds relevance today, if you disagree, well, that is the nature of debate!
