Why Does My Brain Tick This Way And Not That Way? [EXPLICIT]
When approached with hard, shit I painted myself into a corner, questions as to why I believe what I do about privacy and our governments' strides towards a completed "big brother" I must say I never really had a good explanation but a thought just dawned on me at 1:52 in the morning: To accept that our political powers are not moving society forward on a path that benefits them would be to accept that society is a compassionate, non-ravenous, and sensible one. However when you look around the modern world you find society to be quite hostile, ravenous to the point of devouring your very individuality, and completely void of a sensible definition.
DELTA In A Moment of Epiphany
human beings are by definition self serving enities with the occasional alliances, who they assist for one of two reasons,
1 for self benefit at a later stage,
2 for a superior feeling of decency and moral right within their own minds
we fight or minipulate to get what we need or desire
we breed to futher our own sence of mortality and continuation of self and ideas
we wish to be an island of one without ristriction, yet want others to be restrained and controled for our benefit
we are hipocrites of the highest order
yet we complain about others who are exactly the same
we sell our obediance for safety and luxuries while forgeting what we have lost
but still do nothing or feel unable to redress the balance if we remember
to responded to your statement delta
why do goverments want big brother , to use to control us
because ,they can ,we let them, and when its happened its to late to redress
everyone wants to be the boss or top person of/at something, why not have the "something" be control of everyone in the world
The thought to control everything makes most everyone stop and ponder. Could you imagine having total control over everything in life? Even if you just leave the world untouched, free to maintain disorder as it is right now... it's a very enticing position to have.
The only difference from "us" and "them" is that we can see the powers behind the screen and notice what's happening to the drones that are forced to follow their mazes. We want people- everyone- to be in control of their own lives.

Anyone ever heard Plato's allegory of the cave? I think it describes us quite well. While society sits chained together staring at the projections on the wall and believing them to be real we are standing behind the fire and seeing that which is making the projections. A few of us have ventured farther out of the cave and a lesser amount of them have left the cave and come back - either to help us understand or to return to that which was comfortable.
